Crunchy Japanese-Inspired Steak Bites featuring Wilson's Signature Trii-tip

A Japanese-inspired snack featuring the Wilson Winery's Signature zinfandel marinated Tri-Tip!

Wilson's Signature Tri-Tip

Ingredients:
  • 1 Tri-Tip Trimmed
  • 2 cups Soy Sauce
  • 1/3 cup Zinfandel
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 teaspoons Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Section Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl or container large enough to submerge tri-tip fully. 
Cover with cling wrap or a lid.
Marinate for minimum 4 hours, ideally overnight.

Steak Bites

Ingredients:
  • 1 Bag Salted Kettle Potato Chips
  • 1 Bottle Kewpie Mayo
  • 1 Container Furikake Seasoning Mix
  • 1/4 Cup Rice Wine Vinegar
Section Directions:
Mix together Kewpie Mayo and rice wine vinegar to slightly thin out the consistency of the mayo, add to a squeeze bottle. 

Receipe Directions:

Grill marinated tri-tip to medium rare (or desired doneness). Allow to rest 5-15 minutes.
Slice thinly across the grain.
Put a handful of the potato chips in a bowl.
Drizzle with thinned out Kewpie mayo. 
Add 3-4 dashes of furikake seasoning, top with slices of steak.
