Harvest is late so we got a caterer native of Jersey serving you your fantasy-come-true Philly Cheese Steak Slider.
Ingredients:
- ribeye beef thinly shaved
- salt and pepper to taste
- onion diced
- sweet red bell peppers julienned
- aged provolone cheese
- white american cheese
- soft potato slider buns
- garlic mayo
- garlic finely chopped
Directions:
Thinly shave fresh ribeye and season generously with salt and pepper. Julienne red bell peppers. Medium dice yellow onion. Add olive oil to a large pan and sauté bell peppers, halfway through add finely chopped garlic and salt and pepper to taste In a separate heavy bottom pot cook onions on low stirring occasionally until caramelized, add salt and pepper Heat a flat top grill or large pan and add shaved ribeye, chop the beef until cooked through. Season with salt and pepper add in peppers and onions. Brush both sides of slider bun with garlic mayo. Toast on grill lightly. Steam/Melt cheese into beef and peppers/onions mixture. Build your sandwich and enjoy!
