A Zinfandel lover's match made in heaven - Enjoy Winemaker Antoine Favero's own BBQ Skirt-steak recipe in a delicious Zinfandel marinade & paired with our own award-winning Verano Zinfandel!
Ingredients:
- 3 pounds skirt-steak
- 3/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup teriyaki
- 4 ounces pineapple juice
- 1 tablespoon garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- splash Mazzocco Verano Zinfandel
Directions:
Add skirt-steak, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, pineapple juice, garlic, garlic powder, ground black pepper & Zinfandel to a large bowl. Cover and place in fridge. Marinate overnight for most flavor, or a minimum of 2-3 hours. Take the steak out of the fridge and let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to an hour before barbecuing, to allow for the steak cook more evenly. Serve with your favorite fall side dish and a glass of delicious Mazzocco Sonoma Verano Zinfandel.
